Yesterday, the Indian men's team emerged victorious in the maiden Kho Kho World Cup, defeating Nepal 54-36 in the final held in New Delhi. SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu have congratulated Team India.
"It’s heartwarming to see the world celebrate one of India’s ancient sports, Kho Kho, with the inaugural World Cup this year. Congratulations to the Indian Women’s and Men’s teams for winning the first titles with stellar performances and making the nation proud," the RRR and Baahubali maker wrote on social media, ending his post with the 'Jai Hind' slogan.
Mahesh Babu wrote, "Indian Women’s & Men’s teams have risen to the occasion not just winning the Inaugural #KhoKhoWorldCup but also reviving the soul of one of India’s oldest sports. Proud moment for the nation."
The upcoming movie of the Rajamouli-Mahesh Babu duo was launched recently. Priyanka Chopra is currently participating in pre-production works in Hyderabad. The untitled project is yet to go on the floors.
