Why Venkatesh won't do RGV's controversial movie

The other day, Ram Gopal Varma announced a socio-political crime drama titled Syndicate. The film will be about the presence of a criminal nexus across different fields and sectors in the country.

Media reports have speculated that Victory Venkatesh has been approached for a lead role in the movie. These reports have also claimed that Fahadh Faasil of Pushpa fame, Vijay Sethupathi, and Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen in the movie in different roles.

Most likely, these speculative reports are just imaginary. Most of the big stars have ceased acting in controversial movies. Venkatesh will be the last one to associate himself with someone like Ram Gopal Varma, especially after the director's diminished form over the years.

Syndicate is yet to be launched. RGV might most likely do the film with character artists he trusts.

Venkatesh was most recently seen in Sankranthiki Vasthunam. The movie has grossed nearly Rs 250 Cr as per the makers. The actual figure is said to be about Rs 30 Cr less.
