Vijay Deverakonda today alleged that some people have funded an orchestrated negative campaign against himself and his movie, 'Kushi'. Speaking at the film's Blockbuster Celebrations today in Vizag, the actor alleged that thousands of fake accounts have been created to downgrade his movie on Book My Show, the ticket-booking platform.
"I and my film have been targeted. Fake YouTube videos, fake BMS ratings.. All these have been funded by some people who got anonymous social media accounts floated in order to hurt my film," Vijay said.
"Despite all the attacks, 'Kushi' has minted big numbers only because of you all (addressing his fans and audiences). Looking at your cheers, I don't feel like talking about the orchestrated campaign," he added.
Directed by Shiva Nirvana, 'Kushi' has music by Hesham Abdul Wahab.
