Chaitanya Bharadwaj's songs too played an important role in the success of 'RX 100'. Songs like 'Pilla Ra' became chartbusters and the music director even grabbed an opportunity to work with Nagarjuna. On the occasion of his birthday (22nd July), Chaitanya Bharadwaj talked about his journey.
Software to film industry
Chaitanya Bharadwaj was an IT professional. But due to his interest in movies, he left the software field. His talent was first noticed by filmmaker Ramesh Varma, who watched his composition for a short film, produced by Shreyas Media. The 'Rakshasudu' director gave him the opportunity to compose music for his '7' movie. At the same time, he got a call from Ajay Bhupathi for 'RX100'. 'RX100' released first and it shot Chaitanya Bharadwaj into the limelight.
Like challenges
Though 'RX100' brought him overnight fame, Chaitanya Bharadwaj doesn't want to use that success formula. He likes challenging works. He said that he has been able to give new tunes as all the directors, he worked with after 'RX100', gave him challenging works and no one asked him to give tunes similar to 'RX100' songs. He said that he wants to update himself regularly and wants to give new experiences to music lovers.
Can't forget the call from Nagarjuna
Chaitanya Bharadwaj said that he will never forget the call he received from Nagarjuna and the opportunity he gave to a budding music director like him. He said that he will be ever indebted to Nagarjuna. He also thanked all the directors and producers who are giving him opportunities and Telugu audiences for encouraging him.
