Sreemukhi, Raja Ravindra, Mano, and Bharani as the lead actors the movie Crazy Uncles is slated for its release and has caught up with good hype around. Here is a chit-chat with Crazy Uncles movie producer Kiran Talasila.
Q. How did you enter into movie production? What fascinates you about this job?
A. I settled down in the US earlier. But, my love for cinema has only doubled over the years. I got a few contacts from the industry and hence decided to produce for movies.
Q. Please tell us about your movie Crazy Uncles?
A. Well, I loved working on this movie. This movie has so much entertainment to cater to the audience, along with a message. I am so excited about the movie release.
Q. Who are the ones you are connected to, from the industry?
A. Director Maruthi is one of the best people I've met in the movie industry. I do have a good rapport with Sriwass as well. Others support me and I am happy I met these wonderful people.
Q. How confident are you about Crazy Uncles?
A. I couldn't ask for a better team. I am so content with the output of Crazy Uncles. Sreemukhi, Raja Ravindra, Mano, Bharani, and all the others are wonderful. Sathi has directed the movie with much expertise.
Q. Keeping the pandemic phase in reference, what troubles were faced by you for Crazy Uncles?
A. I had a hard time like any other producer. The pandemic situation has made it so difficult for all the industry people. I had to make sure and double-check about the safety of the actors, technicians, and others. As I am here in America, I had to constantly stay informed about the same. It was such a task.
Q. What are the kind of movies you dream to produce in the future?
A. There is no certainty on what kind of projects would happen to me. I just want different projects and good scripts.
Q. How do you take success and failures?
A. Both are a part of life. Failures aren't that bad. They teach you many things your success doesn't teach. I do enjoy my success.
Q. Please tell us about your future projects?
A. I have produced for an upcoming Bollywood movie. Naseeruddin Shah's son Vivaan Shah is the main lead in the movie, which is getting ready for its release. There are a couple of other movies in Telugu as well.
