Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Kajal Agarwal starrer MLA is releasing on March 23. Meanwhile, the pre-release event was held on March 20 in Hyderabad. Touted to be an action drams, the film is directed by debutant Upendra Madhav. Bharat Chowdhary and Kiran Reddy are producing the film. The film has music by Mani Sharma.
Hero Nandamuri Kalyan Ram said, “I love producers who keep faith on stories. I am sure Bharat Chowdhary and Kiran Reddy will become top producers in future. I was very much excited while listening to the script ‘MLA’ like how I felt for ‘Pataas’. Upendra Madhav has narrated me the script wonderfully. He has presented me in a different way. Prasad Murella garu is one of the best cinematographers among all others who I have worked with so far. Ravi Kishan garu is like my brother. He is the super star in Bhojpuri. It’s such a great thing that such a great actor played antagonist in the film. He, who has the experience of 500 films, always tries to learn new things. He inspired me. You will see new Kalyan Ram in MLA. This is my second film with Kajal Aggarwal. In this 14-year-long cine career, I did 14 films, whereas she did 50 films. It is all because of her dedication and hard work. I wish she will do another 50 films in future. The film came out wonderfully. I am sure MLA will impress all sects of audience. I am thankful to everyone who supported me.”
Speaking at the pre-release event, Srinu Vaitla said, “I don’t know how tough it would be to become MLA without any background, but I know how challenging it would be to become a director without any background. Upendra has worked at me several years. I know how much he struggled for this film. He would always share with me his experiences in this journey. Kalyan Ram has made his dream come true. Producer Kiran Reddy said, “This is our second film under Blue Planet Entertainments banner. Upendra garu has narrated the script duing the time of ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’. Kalyan Ram garu was also very much impressed by the script. I am very happy that Kalyan Ram garu has accepted to act in this. Though his hand was injured, he completed the film with great commitment. He is producers’ hero. I am very happy that we got the opportunity to once again work with a lucky heroine Kajal. We are releasing the film on March 23.
