The pre-release event of Natural Star Nani starrer ‘Krishnarjuna Yuddham’ was held in a grand manner on Saturday i.e. on March 31 in Tirupati. Dil Raju graced the event and launched the theatrical trailer and the first ticket. Prashanthi, Mourya and Prabhas Srinu were present at the event.
Natural Star Nani, who is rocking at the box office by delivering back to back blockbusters, is all set to continue the success streak. Merlapaka Gandhi is the director for this project in which Nani will be seen portraying dual roles. Anupama Parameswaran and US born actress Rukshar Mir are playing the female leads. Young producers Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi are jointly producing Krishnarjuna Yudham under their newly floated Shine Screens banner. Young Tamil music sensation Hip Hop Tamizha who shot to fame in Tollywood with Dhruva has rendered tunes and background score for Krishnarjuna Yudham. Entire shooting part of the film has been completed and it is all set to hit screens on April 12.
Speaking on the occasion, Hit films producer Dil Raju said, “Gandhi is going to hit a hat-trick through Krishnarjuna Yudham. I am very happy by seeing the wonderful response that got for the music director Hip Hop Tamizha. Rukshar Mir is being introduced as heroine through this film. All technicians who worked for the film have done a great job. One of the producers of the film Sahu is my family friend. They found a good hero for their first venture. Nani and I became competitors. We both are delivering back to back hits. Story is the main element for any film to become success. I wish Krishnarjuna Yudham will become big hit for Nani. He always good at choosing nice scripts. Krishnarjuna Yudham is being released on our banner in AP and Telangana.”
Hero Nani said, “I don’t know how many times I visited my grandparent’s house since my childhood. But, I can say I have visited Tirupati twice or thrice as many times I have visited my grandparents’ house. Krishnarjuna Yudham is releasing on April 12. I felt very comfortable working with Merlapaka Gandhi. He is just like my brother. I enjoyed a lot while working for this film. Each and everyone in the team have given lot of support. Dhruva audio is one of my favourite album. Hip Hop Tamizha has given wonderful music and background score. Anupama Parameswaran and Rukshar Mir have given beautiful performance. Heroines’ roles are crucial in the film. I am extremely confident on the success of the film.”
On this occasion, director Merlapaka Gandhi said, “When I was studying Inter, Hemanth and I used to go to theaters in Tirupati. I took training at LV Prasad Institute and at Nani garu for six months. When I started narrating the script to Nani, he just listened 10 minutes and given his nod. Nani garu spoke Chittur accent with ease. Anupama and Rukshar Mir have given wonderful performances. Hip Hop Tamizha’s music is excellent. Prashanthi garu has made the film look colourful.”
Heroine Anupama Parameswaran said, “I am visiting Tirupati for the first time. I have been wanting to visit this place since long time and now it happened. Director Gandhi garu has penned interesting dialogues. I am thankful to cameraman and Prashanthi garu. Songs are already a big hit. Rukshar Mir and I together have some scenes. Nani is a perfect guy. If he takes up a project means, he takes care of everything in film.”
Hip Hop Tamizha said, “My first film in Telugu is ‘Dhruva’. Nearly after 1 year I did ‘Krishnarjuna Yuddham’. ‘Daari Choodu’ song will become trending. The song was made with Chittur folk song. We made Penchala Das to sing a folk song. We have given music after making him sing the song. I will encourage such talented people in my future films also. Re-recording came out wonderfully. This is the first time I met Nani. I would like to thank the director Gandhi. I am very happy to provide music and background score to this film. The film will have thrilling elements also along with comedy.”
Penchala Das, said, “I sing folk songs. I am a painter too. I used to sing songs at writers’ meeting at arts auditorium in SV University. Gandhi garu’s father Murali garu and Bala garu promised me they would give me the opportunity in films. I got the opportunity to sing for ‘Express Raja’. But, I missed it due to my health issues. Again they called me for this film. They were very much impressed by my song and took me to Madras. This is how I got the opportunity to sing a song for Krishnarjuna Yudham. I am very happy that offers are pouring in for me.”
Tirupati Prasad, Fight Master Jashuva Fight Master RK, ‘Ninnu Kori’ director Siva Nirvana, Dance Master Raghu and Abhinav and some others were present at the event and wished all the best for the success of the film.
