Based on the data put out by Daily Culture, a BO tracker, we have made a qualitative analysis of how medium-range Telugu actors have fared in the post-pandemic era. The analysis is based on the performance of their films, ranked from best to worst performing actor:
Nani: Nani emerges as the strongest performer, delivering consistent hits across the period. With Shyam Singha Roy (Hit), Dasara (Super Hit), Hi Nanna (Super Hit), and Saripodhaa Sanivaaram (Super Hit), he stays the strongest. His only setback was Ante Sundaraniki (Flop).
Sai Dharam Tej: He holds a strong position with Solo Brathuke So Better (Hit) and Virupaksha (Blockbuster). However, Republic (Disaster) was a misstep.
Naga Chaitanya: Naga Chaitanya shows a mixed but relatively positive trajectory. Love Story (Hit) and Thandel (Super Hit) came as the saving grace. However, Thank You (Washout) and Custody (Disaster) dent his record.
Ram Pothineni: Ram Pothineni started strong with Red (Super Hit). However, his subsequent films, The Warriorr (Disaster), Skanda (Flop), and Double iSmart (Colossal Disaster), mark a sharp decline.
Vijay Deverakonda: He struggles to regain his pre-COVID stardom. Kushi (Average) offers some relief, but Liger (Colossal Disaster) and The Family Star (Disaster) are major setbacks.
Nithiin: Nithiin faces a tough period with a string of failures: Check (Disaster), Rang De (Flop), Macherla Niyojakavargam (Disaster), Extra Ordinary Man (Washout), and Robinhood (Colossal Disaster).
Varun Tej: Varun Tej is the weakest performer, with a dismal run of Ghani (Washout), Gandeevadhari Arjuna (Washout), Operation Valentine (Washout), and Matka (Zero share).
