'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' Thank You Meet event was held in Hyderabad on Monday. The whole unit has attended the event. Allu Arjun, Trivikram Srinivas, Pooja Hegde, Rajendra Prasad, Harshavardhan, Sunil were among others who attended the event.
Harshavardhan said, "Trivikram's talent was seen in all his previous films. But 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' has showcased his guts. Few of my friends called from U.S. and said that the family emotions have worked out very well. Bunny has been growing as an actor with every movie. His performance in this movie is wonderful".
Navdeep said, "Sankranthi has come in advance for us. Bunny and I have been friends for 15 years and what I observed in all these years is he never uses his background as an advantage. He only feels it is a responsibility. Only few heroes have that quality. One day, I saw a huge crowd gathered in front of Geetha Arts office. It was neither Allu Arjun's birthday nor Sirish's marriage. I got to know that Bunny takes time for photo session with his fans every Friday. I don't know whether any other hero does that. He used the 'gap' to his advantage with great effort. Everyone should have at least 1 percent of Bunny's dedication. Looks like people at Geetha Arts have adopted me this year. I am doing two other projects in this banner. Aravind garu will tell about those projects soon".
Ram-Lakshman said, "Man fears of failure when he gets success and gets the required strength for success when he fails. We feel that the failure of 'Naa Peru Surya' has led to the success of this movie. After 'Agnyaathavaasi', we've learnt from Trivikram that failure comes only to teach something. Our fighters are also the reason behind the amazing out put for action sequences. We feel happy whenever someone says that all the Sankranthi films are ours. The credit goes to our parents, Raju master, who taught us this skill, 'Kalaamma talli', who brought uneducated people like us to this position and God, who gave us this strength. A teacher gets honoured if he has a good student and a father gets honoured if he has a good son. Allu Aravind garu is lucky to have a good son like Bunny. Trivikram garu is a director with a good heart".
Ramuloo Ramulaa' song has become such a big hit not because of Bunny, Brahmanandam has quipped suggesting that it's because of him. Brahmi added, "After I had a heart surgery, Allu Arjun had paid a visit to my house. He said, "Uncle, you are in perfect health now. Have a good rest and after the break, the first film you do will be mine. I thought he said those words for motivating me. Then after, Trivikram garu came and said that we are going to work together. The movie was completed and I don't know what they discussed. They thought Brahmanandam should appear in this movie and gave me a role. Both of them stand by their words. Bunny got that quality from my guru Allu Ramalingaiah garu. Allu Arjun said to his wife that he will always be with his father. That is Bunny. He is a proved artist. No one gets fame for doing nothing. There will be lot of hard work behind that. He is an actor with a good potential. Everyone knows Trivikram's potential as a writer. He is very close to our comedians. Thaman's tunes are superb.This Sankranthi festival will extend till Ugadi because of this movie".
Sunil said, "Trivikram doesn't like firing Diwali bombs. Whenever he does, he only fires Atom bombs. That's why he came here after studying Nuclear physics. 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' is an example that great things are simple and action speaks more than words. Trivikram has adopted me 25 years ago and has been giving me characters since them. A dance bit and dialogues of mine have got good response. I've got introduced to the Malayalam audiences this Sankranthi. My movie has released for Sankranthi after 10 years. I hope I get adopted by Aravind garu like Navdeep. I was fortunate to get a chance to act with Allu Ramalingaiah garu".
Rajendra Prasad said, "I am very happy to have acted in two Sankranthi releases. I'd worked with the same hero, director and banner for 'Julayi'. Allu Aravind garu has joined now. We lost Jandhyala garu but God gave us Trivikram Srinivas. This movie is something special. It is a musical hit. I'm proud that my friend Drums Sivaram's son Thaman has become such a classy music director. Art director Prakash is a special talent. All of us worked together like a family. I will remember this Sankranthi forever".
Sushanth said, "I've learnt a lot in this journey. Bunny has given one of his career best performances. His acting is very matured in this movie. 'Butta Bomma' is very apt to describe Pooja Hegde. With the energy given by this movie, I'm starting one at the end of this month".
Thaman said, "Understanding Trivikram garu's writing is not easy. I had to put in extra effort for this movie. I could see something new in Trivikram every day. Bunny is a great dancer. I worked with him for the first time on 'Race Gurram'. The hard work he does is unbelievable. I'm proud to have been working in a industry of legends. Pooja Hegde said, "I've become a big fan of Trivikram garu with this movie. Not only as a director, I've also started liking him as a person. He is really a Guruji. I'm very happy to have worked for the second time in this banner. Allu Aravind garu brings a lot of positivity to the sets. I want to work with him on more movies. Thaman has become a big star today. He has become so busy that he is not even responding to messages. He has given a soul to this movie. It's a golden phase for him now. Ram-Lakshman are stylish action choreographers. I thank Trivikram garu for repeating me with Allu Arjun. I've been a fan of Bunny since 'DJ'".
Allu Aravind said, "From Allu Ramalingaiah garu to my sons, audiences have blessed everyone from our family. We thank them for their support. We thought it was a simple story, when Trivikram garu narrated it. But he has developed it wonderfully well with his screenplay. After watching the rushes, I was surprised seeing the ease with which Bunny has done this character. But there was a lot hard work behind it. When it comes to collections, it is not Bunny's best or Trivikram best, it will be one of industry's best for sure".
Trivikram said, "We started the movie with the Chunni fight. It's been a philosophical journey with Ram-Lakshman masters. We kept two things about this movie under wraps. 'Sittarala Sirapadu', a song with Srikakulam slang, was choreographed by Ram-Lakshman masters. They didn't choreograph fights. They understood every lyric and did it poetically. We dedicate that song to Uttarandhra people. Vijay Kumar penned it and Thaman has given a very good tune. Then, we used Brahmanandam garu for 'Ramulaa Ramulaa' song. It was not easy to conceal the fact that he appeared in our film. Tanikella Bharani garu has been appearing in every movie of mine. Sunil doesn't know his strength. When we were roommates, he wanted to become a villain. But I used to say that he will become a legend in comedy. Of course, he is not believing in my words even now. He might believe in me when he receives Padma Shri or Padma Bhushan after 20 years. Harshavardhan and I started out as writers. There is a dearth for character artists in Telugu film industry and I hope he will fill that space. I've been coping up with Rajendra Prasad garu since 'Julayi'. I will do it even in the future. Because he is like a diamond. Sushanth didn't listen to the story though I asked him to do it. Pooja is disciplined and understands her character well. She is beautiful as well as clever. She gives dates whenever required. She is like a representative of today's girls. So I roped in her for the second time. I respect her. Thaman was the first person who made us believe that the film will be a blockbuster. He gave six blockbuster songs. I am like a family member to Chinnababu garu and Aravind garu. Everyone knows Bunny is a great dancer and has a great knowledge about fashion. But only few know that he is a great actor. Only a few glimpses of his acting potential were seen previously. But I wanted to see his skills in every scene and that wish has come true with this movie. We know how hard he works for every shot in the location. After watching the film, I said that he has given one of the finest performances till date. What happens when you bowl a full toss to Sachin. That's what happened with Bunny now"
Allu Arjun said, "'My dearest fans, Thank you so much for all the Love. I wanted to tell you all please be a little patient about the next movie announcement because it will take a while more. I want to genuinely deliver a good film. Takes time. Thank you for understanding' was my message to fans last year on 26th July. After the movie's release, a fan replied "Cheppi Maree blockbuster kottaadu..eedu magaadra Bujji" (Tanikella Bharani read the reply on Allu Arjun's request). I like that dialogue. I thank audiences and fans for giving me such a big success. This is my first film with art director Prakash. I will do more films with him. North Indians like my fights. Ram-Lakshman masters are behind the action image I've got. I'm very happy that Brahmanandam garu talked about my grandfather. The response to the board room scene I did with Sunil is amazing. P.S.Vinod took the film to the next level with his cinematography. I am a big fan of Thaman's music. My baava Navdeep maintains the same high wherever he is. I thank Sushanth for doing this movie without even listening to the script. Generally, I don't repeat heroines. But when was doing 'DJ', I thought of working with Pooja Hegde one again. After doing this movie, I want to work with her again. I wanted to do a big film for a long time. Trivikram garu was the only person I thought of then. I said to him that I wanted to be a part of a genuine, entertaining film. Audiences have got connected to the genuineness in the movie. Trivikram garu supported me all through the making, though I got deviated some times. I like Murali Sharma a lot. I'm happy that he has given his career best performance in this movie. Because of him, my character got elevated more. Someone asked me about nepotism in an interview. We have dedicated our lives to cinema just like generations of priests dedicate their lives to serving God. My grandfather did it, my father did it and now I am doing it. If you think it is nepotism, I have no issues. We've just got surrendered to audiences to entertain them".
