On the 14th of May, Vamsi Film Arts organized a function at Dindigal, where in the cast and crew of Sri Ramadasu was felicitated and blessed by Sri Sri Sri Ganapati Sachidananda Swamy. Nagarjuna, K. Raghavendra Rao, J.K. Bharavi, Suman, Archana, S.Gopal Reddy, Chalasani Ramesh, Co-director Ravi, Production controller Bhaskara Raju, poster designer Suresh Bujji, Mohan Kumar. Vijaya Babu, Rama Krishna, Nagaraju, Numerologist Daivagna Sharma and politician Kanumuri Bapi Raju attended the function which was hosted by Kappa Venkata Krishna Murthy.
"I was told that Swamiji got tears in his eyes while he watched Sri Ramadasu" hero Nagarjuna said, "We (the unit of Sri Ramadasu) are really fortunate to get his blessings".
"My first devotional film, Asta Lakshmi Vaibhavam, was produced by Ganapati Sachidananda Swamy" writer J.K.Bharavi said, "that film was made to promote our culture. At that time he (Swamiji) said that I would promote our culture and it has come true since I have scripted three devotional epics to date, Annamayya, Sri Manjunatha and now Sri Ramadasu. I am swamiji's devotee and am known as Sudarshana Bhattacharya in his ashram, he also informed that he is planning to pen a script about Sri Ganapati Sachidananda Swamy and that director K. Raghavendra Rao is planning to make yet another devotional film".
After Suman said that he was fortunate enough to have watched Sri Ramadasu along with Swamiji on Ramanavami day, Ganapati Sachidananda Swamy finally took to the mike and said "Now days producers are making films only to make money but not with any kind of social responsibility. Even awards are being given to the unworthy. Though I have produced two devotional films, this is the first time that I am attending a film function. Director K. Raghavendra Rao made a wonderful film of Sri Ramadasu, which was appreciated by even the masses. And Nagarjuna has given such an historical performance that I had to met him personally to tell what a good job he has done. He should continue to do more commercial as well as devotional films in the future. His (Nagarjuna) family has done a lot of service for the film industry. Amala Akineni's Blue Cross, once, took care of my injured dog, which was cured in no time at all. Keeravani's music for Sri Ramadasu is also commendable. He once performed at my Ashram, where he played the Keeravani ragam on all the musical instruments".
