The success meet of Shekar Kammula's Godavari was held at Film Nagar Cultural Club today, 13th June. Present on the occasion were director Sekhar Kammula, producer G.V.G. Raju, hero Sumanth, heroine Kamalinee Mukherjee, Kamal kamaraju and Anish Kuruvilla.

Where Sumanth announced that the unit will be celebrating Godavari's completion of 50 days on a boat, heroine Kamalinee said that their hard work had paid off as the audiences were appreciating the movie a lot.

"After Pokiri Godavari is this summer's biggest hit" director Sekhar Kammula said "Godavari is due to complete 50 days in about 35 to 40 centers. We wanted to hold a success meet after we made sure that the movie was a genuine hit. The whole unit had worked very hard. Special care was taken for the dubbing. The part of the talking dog was a risk we took because this is the first time that such kind of animation was shown in a Telugu movie. But I am glad that people especially enjoying the dog bit in the movie".
