Award winning Hindi film actress Shabana Azmi will be honored with the second annual ANR award, by the Akkineni International Foundation on January 13th 2007. "We have chosen her (Shabana Azmi) not only for her excellence in the field of cinema but also for her humanitarian services", legendeary actor and founder of the Akkineni International Foundation, Akkineni Nageswara Rao said, at a press conference held to announce the details of the function. According to the announcement CM YSR is expected to attend the function along with union minister Meera Kumar, who will be the chief guest for the occasion. Evergreen hero of Indian Cinema, Hindi film actor Dev Anand was awarded the first ANR award.
