Music of Uday Kiran and Diya starrer "Lakshmi Putrudu" was launched on Sunday at Ravi Narayana Reddy auditorium, Hyderabad. Politicians and cinema personalities graced the function. Damodar ReddyMinister for IT released the first audio album and handed over it to hero Uday Kiran.
Before that heroine Ankita appearing as Goddess Lakshmi came on to the stage bringing cassettes in a 'Kalasham'. She presented the cassettes to the chief guest. The film's producer Ram Babu, Brahmanandam, Producer's Council President Tammareddy Bharadwaja, music director D Imman, Shakeela, producer Ashok Kumar, Janardhana Maharshi, produces Giri and KVV Satyanarayana and Shiva Nageshwara Rao are chief among the other guests attended the function.

Brahmanandam
"When the shooting is about to finish, producer Ram Babu and executive producer Vijay Varma came to me and asked me to do a role. I immediately agreed. When I went to the shooting, only then I was informed about my character. They asked me to do the parody of Rajnikant as Shivaji. I was stunned. How could I do? He is very lean guy, where as I have belly and big personality. Then they told me I have to sing a song with Mumaith Khan. It was a blow to me. But the producers convinced me that I could do the role. With hesitation I did but when I saw happiness in their eyes after they saw rushes, I felt happy. It was nice experience actually shooting in a real helicopter in a similar way Rajnikant did in Shivaji".

Uday Kiran
"When you are in success, everyone praises you to please you. They enjoy your success but the real persons who are to close are those who stand by us in hard times. Luckily, I got many such people. Especially the audiences still fondly talk to me when I go outside and they wish me. I am lucky to have their love. My producer is real person. Lakshmi Putrudu has come out well. Music is especially is too good. I didn't know much about music director Imman but when I heard his songs, I was thrilled with them."

"I don't see much movies but I am big fan of Late NTR. Though I am congress man, I used to like NTR movies. That is the only connection I have with the film industry. But producer Ram Babu is good friend to me. I know his 'taste'. Uday Kiran is a good hero and my family members like his acting very much. I hope he gets success with this film."
