Vengamamba Audio Appreciation Meet

The devotional film ‘Vengamamba’ starring Meena, Saikumar and Sarath Babu is coming up under VMC Productions banner produced by Dhoraswamy Raju. P Udaya Bhaskar is the director. The album consisting of 21 songs was recently released. MM Keeravani composed the music. The makers of the film say that there is tremendous response for the songs, therefore in order to convey their message a press conference was organized. In this programme Chadhalawada Srinivas, MVS Prasad, MM Keeravani, Udaya Bhaskar, Mukthevi Bharathi, Rama Krishna, Radhika Krishna, Ananth, JK Bharghavi, Maada, etc., participated in the meet.

Script writer of Vengamamba, Mukthevi Bharathi said, “I thank Dhoraswamy for making my script into a serial and film as well. The songs in the film give us a devotional feeling and by following the lyrics one can easily understand Vengmamba’s life history.”

“Vengamamba is not only a devotee of Lord Venkateswara but also the first women to initiate against women’s problems. Dhoraswamy is very fortunate to get an opportunity to produce the ‘Laali Paata’ on Sri Venkateswara Swamy and ‘Mutyala Harathi’ for Tharigonda”, commented director P Udaya Bhaskar.

Producer Dhoraswamy Raju said, “We are planning to release ‘Vengamamba in the mid of July. Right now re-recording work has come to a final stage. Dubbing has been completed recently. I’m blessed to make films on great lyricists and devotees like Annamayya and Vengamamba.”

Chadalavada Srinivas Rao said that Dhoraswamy has good taste in films. He also appreciated Keeravani’s music in ‘Vengamamba’.

TTD’s ex-executive officer MVS Prasad opined that songs in ‘Vengamamba’ are melodious as well as folk based ones.

Keeravani thanked the director and producer for giving him the opportunity to compose tunes for “Vengamamba”.
