Jhummandi Naadam Audio Release

Manoj Kumar Manchu and Tapsee starrer K Raghavendra Rao’s ‘Jhummandhi Naadam’ had its audio launching function at Raavi Narayana Reddy Auditorium in Hyderabad on Friday evening. This film is being produced by Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna under Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures banner.
Dr Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Dr Mohan Babu, Dr Dasari Narayana Rao, K Raghavendra Rao and Jayasudha graced the glitzy function.
Dr Dasari Narayana Rao released the first audio CD and presented to K Raghavendra Rao. MM Keeravani received the second copy of audio CD. Likewise Dr Chiranjeevi released te audio cassettes and presented the first copy of it to Manchu Manoj Kumar and the second copy to Smt Lakshmi Prasanna.

Later addressing the gathering Balakrishna said, “The title is giving a good feel. We already know that Raghavendra Rao and Keeravani are successful combination. Keeravani is the hero in this audio function. He is well known for his class as well as mass music. His music plays a very important role in Raghavendra Rao’s films. Now to tell few words about Lakshmi Prasanna, like her father she too has her own individuality. She is gradually getting into field of cinematic vision. While she is producing this film on one side, on other side she also began her acting career. I wish her success as a producer and actor as well.”
Jayasudha said, “I acted in several super hit films under this banner. I wish Lakshmi Prasanna a grand success as producer. I also wish that she would turn into director one day and give me a role in her movie. Raghavendra Rao garu said that he directed this film taking a different approach to suit this generation.”

Keeravani while speaking, “I must confess that two eyes are not sufficient watch the beauty of the heroine in this film. Raghavendra Rao garu exhibited her remarkably beautiful in each frame. The director gave me the opportunity to compose tune for ‘Punyabhoomi Naa Desam’ in ‘Major Chandrakanth’ and in this film also there is a song called ‘Desamante Matham Kaadoi’ that would fetch me equal name. I am pretty confident that the audio of this flick will become a very big hit.”

Heroine Tapsee who hails from Delhi commented, “This is a full fledged entertainer with a good storyline. You all are aware that in Raghavendra Rao’s films fruits are thrown on heroine in song sequences. Now to know what fruits were thrown on me you have to watch the film.”

Raghavendra Rao while speaking, “Some in general jokingly comment that the heroine can bare if any fruit thrown on her except pine apple. Tapsee is very glamorous and she has got the urge to become a good actress. Therefore that urge in her made her learn Telugu although she is a non Telugu speaking girl. It’s Mohan Babu’s kind gesture that made this function so lively with everyone’s presence. I appreciate and thank Mohan Babu for organizing this function to prove that all are one even if some times there is a communication gap in the film industry.”

Dr Dasari said, “I’m able to sense a healthy atmosphere in this function. For those who think that the film industry has parted into various groups with lot of difference of opinions, this function will prove it to be wrong. We have already proved in the past during the star night event for flood victims that the entire film industry is one. I already showed it in my film ‘Swargam Narakam’ that we are first artists and then politicians. Since we are artists we are a bit emotional. The emotions appear and disappear quickly. No enmity lasts for long in film industry. Now to talk about Raghavendra Rao’s film, this movie is being made with 9 songs. It’s like a journey and only we can do such experiments. Like Raj Kapoor, Raghavendra Rao also has a mark of his own. It’s always challenging to direct young stars because we will get the opportunity to prove that we are a step ahead of them. I will never agree if anyone say that Manoj or Ram Charan are greater than their fathers because they do not know the value of hardwork. While we, (Dasari, Mohan Babu and Chiranjeevi) came up in life with our own hard work and not with anyone’s support. In my personal opinion only daughters will inspire in keeping their parents’ pride. In this year only three films have impressed me so far. They are Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Ye Maya Chesave’, Manoj’s ‘Bindaas’ and Balayya’s ‘Simha’. But it’s really surprising why ‘Bindaas’ did not become a big hit as much as I expected.”

Dr Mohan Babu said, “While we launched the film ‘Alludugaru’ in Hyderabad, Chiranjeevi directed the muhurat shot and that film celebrated silver jubilee. Later he spoke wonderfully in the 25 weeks function of my film ‘Allari Mogudu’. Such is the rapport between us. Any difference of opinions is only temporary. I always wanted his blessings for my sons and daughter. And I wish that he should grow as a great politician. I started my banner in 1982 and my brother NTR inaugurated it by breaking the coconut. In 1992 I made ‘Major Chandrakanth’ and I did ‘Allari Mogudu’ as hero under Raghavendra Rao’s direction on my banner. I believe that ‘Jhummandi Naadam’ will certainly increase the stardom of Manoj.”

Chiranjeevi while speaking, “Knowingly or unknowingly I was associated myself with politics and you all know the stress in that. So with all this when I come to you all and sit on this dais I feel very relieved and it is like home coming for me. When it comes to the movie I’m really happy to see that the movie has been named after the lyrics of Veturi’s song. Each song in this film is reminding each of Raghavendra Rao’s film. We all know about this successful combination of Raghavendra Rao and Keeravani. Raghavendra Rao is an ever green director whose heart is always young. It’s always advisable to give right opportunities to the children in the family and no doubt they will come out with new concepts. Manoj has chances of over taking his father with his talent. Same way I wish Lakshmi Prasanna also to achieve great heights.”

“This is the most unforgettable day in my life. We took extra care while making this film. With entry of westernized music the nativity of Telugu music is seem to be slowly vanishing. But this movie appears to have given a new lease of life to this vanishing nativity. I thank the entire unit members for their efforts and support”, expressed Lakshmi Prasanna.
