Sri Ramarajyam Preloaded Audio Memory Card Launch

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s latest film ‘Sri Ramarajyam’, the creation of veteran director K Baapu is being produced by Yalamanchili Saibabu under Sri Saibaba Movies banner with music by maestro Ilayaraja. The film’s audio memory card was launched on August 24th at Novotel Hotel in Hyderabad. Balakrishna graced the event and released the memory cards and presented the first card to Srikanth.

The card consists of 18 songs along with various stills from the film and wallposters. Jonnavittula, Umesh Gupta and Reventh also participated.

Later addressing the gathering Balakrishna said, “The launch of Sri Ramarajyam is unexpected and later everything went on smoothly with perfect artists for Seeta, Lakshmana and Valmiki. I would not have done this film if it would have been directed by someone else. I was a little doubtful if Nageswara Rao garu would be able to do the role of Valmiki but I consider it as God’s grace to see him in that role at this age. The audio launch was like a festival event on 15th August. The audience from all segments is impressed with the songs. Ilayaraja garu provided excellent musical scores. The Telugu audience will always encourage and enjoy mythological films. Valuable movies will always receive positive response from the audience. I recognized those values in this producer when he approached me with this film. I wish people of our country will be inspired by Ramayana. I appreciate Sai Babu garu for making this film with the intension of reminding the human values to the society. The audience would definitely understand the values if said in a proper manner. Ramana garu wrote wonderful scenes for this film. His story narration is so clear that every common man can understand effortlessly and will connect with the characters in the film. Doing this film was an amazing experience. This film will be a trend setter for the future films in folklore and mythological genres. I’m very happy to note that Aditya Music is releasing the songs of this film in new technical methods. This card consists of some clippings along with the songs. I request all fans to come forward to eradicate the piracy. I would like to thank the entire team of ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ on this occasion.”

Lyricist Jonnavithula Ramalingeswara Rao who penned the songs in ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ said, “The country should be fortunate enough to get such films. I’m honored and blessed to write songs for this film. The director wanted songs in a new style. According to him the story of Srirama is in our nerves. So he insisted me to bring out the Ramayana that existed in people’s heart in the form of songs. These songs should bring out the happiness in people. Off late the trend has changed. We are getting accustomed to western style of music where we find it difficult to follow the lines which are rendered by the singers. So in this regard, we discussed how to present the songs in ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ to the people. We wanted to create a mood for every song, that when heard it should take the listener to a peaceful world. Ilayaraja garu created one such mood for every song. Today the entire Andhra Pradesh is discussing about the songs in ‘Sri Ramarajyam’. My close associates from various parts of the world are calling me and appreciating the songs. Poet Chakravarthula Lakshmi Narasamma also called me and appreciated for mentioning the present problems of the women in the society. Likewise Gummadi Gopalakrishna also appreciated the songs. Nandamuri Balakrishna garu enacting the role of Rama for which the music being composed by Ilayaraja is a great honor to this film. Baapu Ramana garu had put in lot of efforts for this film. He portrayed NTR in the film ‘Sri Ramanjaneya’ and his son Balakrishna in ‘Sri Ramarajyam’. He is one of the great personalities who is presenting Ramayana to the audience in his 80s. I appreciate the producer for making such wonderful film with a legendary director like Baapu garu. The fans of Bapu Ramana garu, fans of Balakrishna garu and those who love Ramayana are eagerly waiting for the film’s release. Each one will narrate Ramayana in different style. Therefore Baapu garu narrated the story in his style. I thank him as well as the producer for giving me this great opportunity.”
