Arjuna (On The Sets)

Dr Rajasekhar’s film titled ‘Arjuna’ under the direction of Kanmani is being jointly produced by K Chandra Sekhar and Uday Shankar under AA Arts banner. The shooting is currently being held at Ramanaidu Studios in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad. A press meet was held at the shooting spot through which Dr Rajasekhar, Chalapathy Rao, Kanmani, Rekha, Shivaji Raja, Veligonda Srinivas and Vandemataram Srinivas spoke to the media.

Vandemataram Srinivas said, “This is my 4th film with Rajasekhar. Before I worked with AA Arts for the film ‘Ammaleni Puttillu’, I used to do lot of social films. But after ‘Ammaleni Puttillu’, I worked for many other films on this banner. The story of this film is very powerful. The songs are very good in this film.”

Director Kanmani said, “It took quite a long time to prepare this story. We are making this film keeping in mind that like ‘God Father’ to Hollywood and ‘Sarkaar’ to Bollywood, ‘Arjuna’ is to Tollywood. The son in this film will follow his father’s steps. The main plot of this film is when a good human-being reacted to the incidents occurring in the society, what support did he get is the film all about. All artists are aptly suitable to the characters in the film. The film is being made very naturally. All technicians who are working for this film are very talented. Everyone are working hard for the film’s success. We are confident about the film’s success. The story is on Vijayawada backdrop. I thank everyone for their cooperation.”

Rajasekhar said, “I heard this story a year ago and we worked hard to develop this script. This movie is being made with team work. I saw Kanmani garu’s films and I’m impressed with his work. He is directing the film with natural elements. Veligonda Srinivas garu is writing the dialogues. His dialogues are very impressive. Vandemataram Srinivas also provided very good music. All artists are aptly suitable for the characters in the story. This is a family subject on political backdrop. The film has all required elements. Rekha is essaying the role of my wife. I’m doing dual role, one as Arjuna and the other as Arjuna’s father.”
