Dhoni Audio Release

The audio of Prakash Raj’s first directorial venture ‘Dhoni’ was launched at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad on February 3rd. This film is produced and directed by Prakash Raj under his Duet Movies banner featuring himself, Radhika Apte and Master Aakash in lead roles. Musical scores are rendered by maestro Ilayaraja. Lyricist Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry and Ilayaraja released the audio CDs. Other prominent people seen in audio function were Dil Raju, Trivikram Srinivas, Prakash Raj, Aakash, Baby Sri Teja, cinematographer Guhan, Gunnamganga Raju, Gemini Kiran, etc.

Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry said, “I can’t be without appreciating a good human being and a great actor like Prakash Raj. He chose a wonderful story and designed this film with a beautiful message. He trusted me and offered me to write all songs in this film. I’ve no words to describe about Ilayaraja’s music.”

Ilayaraja said, “I’m very happy to have come for this audio function. I composed music for this film only because of the kind of association I have with Prakash Raj. He made a beautiful film with good message in a very short period of time. This film will earn pride to Telugu film industry.”

Trivikram Srinivas Rao said, “What can I say about Ilayaraja’s music? Everyone knows about it. Ilayaraja is my guru, hence I’m scared to talk in front of him. He is the only music director in the entire world whose re-recording also can be hummed. Prakash Raj is sure to taste the success as director through ‘Dhoni’. Although he narrated the story to me, I did not make much of changes. The movie’s output is excellent.”

Dil Raju opined, “We normally enjoy watching love and entertainment oriented films. But if we encourage these kind of message oriented films, it’s good for the industry as well as the chances are for more films to come in near future in that line. I wholeheartedly wish for the success of this film.”

Prakash Raj said, “When I initially narrated the story to Trivikram, he made only small changes. I wanted to make a message oriented film. I’m lucky that my film has the music of Ilayaraja with Sirivennela’s lyrics. Ilayaraja’s music has given life to my film. This is the film based on the prominence given to education in middle class families. I hope the film will be successful.”
