Prominent producer C Kalyan is bringing a huge film titled ‘Loafer’ with Mega Brother’s son Supreme Hero Varun Tej, who was introduced as hero through the film ‘Mukunda’, as hero under Dashing Director Puri Jagannadh’s direction. The film is being made under Sri Bhuvaneswari Films banner with CK Entertainments Pvt Ltd as presenter. The film was launched with formal Pooja on 8th of July at Puri Jagannadh’s office in Hyderabad. Muhurat scene was shot on the photos of almighty. Puri Jagannadh’s wife and Naga Babu’s wife sounded the clap board while Naga Babu switched on the camera for the muhurat shot of his son, Varun Tej's film. Naga Babu’s daughter Niharika performed Pooja on this occasion.
Briefing about the film details, CK Entertainments head C Kalyan said, “’Loafer’ is the first mass film for Varun Tej. The film will have good entertainment along with mother sentiment and high action. Hero’s characterisation will be very massy. How ‘Idiot’, ‘Pokiri’, ‘Temper’, ‘Chirutha’, ‘Desamuduru’ are for Ravi Teja, Mahesh Babu, NTR, Charan and Bunny respectively, like that ‘Loafer will be for Varun Tej. Regular shooting will continue from tomorrow. A major schedule will star on July 21, at Jodhpur in Rajasthan. The shooting will continue without a break in July, August and September and we are planning to release the film as Vijayadasami treat. Varun Tej will impress all classes of audience with different characterisation. It’s a Puri trademark film.”
