Pelli Pustakam Press Meet

Rahul and Niti Taylor starrer ‘Pelli Pustakam’ has completed the talkie part except for two songs. The film is directed by Ramakrishna Machkanti and produed by B Nagireddy, B V Gopal and P Suman under Lakshmi Narasimha Cine Visions banner with music by Sekhar Chandra. On this occasion a press meet was organised in which director Ramakrishna Machakanti, hero Rahul, heroine Niti Taylor, Kasi Vishwanath, producer Nagireddy and music director Sekhar Chandra participated.

Hero Rahul said, “There is a huge difference between the character I played in ‘Andala Rakshasi’ and the one I’m playing in this film now. This is a romantic comedy. I’m very happy to get the opportunity to be part of this film and I thank my director and producer for it.”

Kasi Vishwanath said, “Pelli Pustakam depicts the value of a joint family. The lead pair gave an energetic performance. So I hope that the movie will be a big success.”

Music director Sekhar Chandra said, “So far I’ve composed music for all youthful entertainers. But this is the first time I’m working for a film of this genre. Hence I consider this movie as a challenging one. The output of the music is wonderful. Songs belonging to different genres are there in this film. I hope the audience will like the songs.”

Producer Nagireddy said, “Pelli Pustakam speaks about a newly wedded couple. I’m very impressed with the way the director crafted the film. Sekhar Chandra’s music and Marudhuri Raja’s dialogues will attract the crowds. I’m confident that this film will be the best of 2013 movies.”

Director Ramakrishna said, “I’ve directed a thriller titled ‘Diary’ in the past. ‘Pelli Pustakam’ is my second attempt. We have chosen the title ‘Pelli Pustakam’ for this film with Baapu garu’s permission. However, there is no resemblance between the two films. The talkie part and 3 songs were completed with in 46 days. We will shoot two more songs in Malaysia and Bangkok. We are including the original song ‘Sreerastu Subhamastu’ in our film. ‘Pelli Pustakam’ is a full-fledged family entertainer with shooting to be completed by this month end. We will complete the post productions in March and release the film in April.”
