Manalo Okadu Muhurat

RP Patnaik is playing the lead in the film titled ‘Manalo Okadu’ under his direction on Uni-Craft Movies banner. The film launch event was held at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad on Friday (February 26). GC Jaganmohan is the producer. Venugopala Chari sounded the clapboard, while Andhra Jyothi MD Radha Krishna switched on the camera for the muhurat shot. Andhra Intellectuals Forum leader Chalasani Srinivas has directed it. Later a press meet was held.

Speaking at the press meet, RP Patnaik said, “Producer GC Jaganmohan is a man with good taste. He is very passionate on films. He went through 50 to 60 scripts and was not impressed by any script. He was very much impressed by the script narrated by me and started the film. After ‘Broker’, this is my next hard hitting film. The film deals with a serious problem which looks silly. Media plays key role in the film. The story of ‘Manalo Okadu’ is related to middle class people. I’m playing Jr Lecturer. The film will be completed in a single schedule without any break from March 10. If everything goes well, the film will be released by the end of June. There are four songs in the film. I’m sure the film will stand out as one of the best films in 2016.”

Producer GC Jaganmohan said, “This is my first film as a producer. I have listened to many script, but I was very impressed by ‘Manalo Okadu’ script and therefore came forward to produce this film. The film gives a good message to the society. We hope everyone will encourage us.”

Chalasani Srinivas said, “Middle class people fights on values. Media plays a key role in the film. ‘Manalo Okadu’ is a good attempt.”

Sandesh, cinematographer SJ Siddhardh and some others were present at the film launch event.

RP Patnaik, Anitha (Nuvvu Nenu fame), Sai Kumar, Nassar, Tanikella Bharani, Sandesh, Raghu Babu, Raja Ravindra, Sarath Babu, Banerjee and Jaya Prakash reddy and some others are playing important roles.
