Oopiri Audio Release

Audio launch event of King Nagarjuna, Tamil actor Karthi and Milky Beauty Tamanna starrer ‘Oopiri’ was a star-studded affair. This grand audio launch was held at Novotel Hotel in Hyderabad on March 1.

K Raghavendra Rao, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Amala, Karthi, Prakash Raj, Jaya Sudha, PVP, Vamshi Paidipalli, Sumanth, Gabrial, Gemini Kiran, Kalyan Krishna, Editor Madhu, Ashwini Dutt, Sushanth, Harish Shankar, Abburi Ravi, Ramajogayya Sastry, Dil Raju, Raghuram Raju, Adavi Sesh, Sricharan, Kajal Agarwal, Dasaradh and Ali and some others have graced the event. Akkineni Nagarjuna launched the audio CDs by presenting the first CD to Amala.

The film is being made with the great combination of King Nagarjuna, who joined 50 Crores club with ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, ‘Aavara’ Karthi and Milky Beauty Tamanna. This Telugu Tamil bilingual film is being produced by prominent producer Prasad V Potluri and Kavin Anne under the banner PVP Cinemas. Young director Vamshi Paidipalli, who is known with the films ‘Munna’, ‘Brindavanam’ and ‘Yevadu’ is directing this prestigious film.

Speaking at the audiolaunch event, Akkineni Nagarjuna said, “Audience are showering so much love and affection on me by giving series of successes with ‘Manam’, ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu’ and ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’. Chaitanya is doing a film titled ‘Sahasame Swasaga Sagipo’. I loved the title. ‘Geethanjali’, ‘Ninne Pelladutha’, ‘Annamayya’ and ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ are risky attempts. Coming to ‘Oopiri’, it’s a long journey. Four years ago, Amala and I watched the original version ‘Intouchables’. We bothe were very impressed by the film. At that time, we felt that it would be good if anyone makes the film in Telugu. After 3 years, Vamsi Paidipalli approached me and given me the CD to watch ‘Intouchables’. Don’t thing that I played the role only by sitting on wheelchair. Even though, my character in the film lost hands and legs, his mind runs fast. The film has all elements like entertainment, love, friendship and emotions. Vamshi has presented everything perfectly. Every person needs a support. The fil depicts the need of caregiver. Karthi played my caregiver. He is a fantastic actor and a good friend. I’m sure the film will become big hit. PVP is the main crux of the film. I’m thankful to him for giving me this wonderful opportunity. I’m extremely confident that the film will earn good name on par with ‘Shiva’, ‘Geethanjali’ and ‘Annamayya’.”

Karthi said, “Vamshi has crafted ‘Oopiri’ beautifully. When I learned that Nagarjuna garu is playing in this film, I immediately said double ok. Acting alongside with Nagarjuna garu is like lifelong gift for me. We tried our best for the best outcome of the film. Emotions and sensibility and everything will be very different. PVP garu is the main reason for the good outcome of the film. Gopi Sundar garu has given wonderful music. Tears rolled down our cheeks by watching Nagarjuna garu’s performance. Audience will enjoy the film for sure.”

The story of the film is about the friendship that happens between two guys who have different mentalities and their emotional journey. Gopi Sundar has given wonderful music. I’m sure music will stand out as big plus to the film. Prakash Raj’s charctor will leave audience in splits from start to the end. He has given perfect justice to his role.
