First look and teaser launch event of ‘Venkatapuram’ starring Rahul and Mahima Makwana as hero and heroine respectively, was held on December 1 in Hyderabad. Shreyas Srinivas and Thumu Phani Kumar are producing the film on Good Cinema Group and Bahumanya Arts banners with Venu Madikanti as director. MP Vivek, famous producer K Achi Reddy, hat-trick director Maruthi, renowned director Bobby, noted producer Malkapuram Sivakumar, Multidimension Vasu, the film’s director Venu Madikanti, producers Shreyas Srinivas and Thumu Phani Kumar were preset at the event.
Wishing all the best to the team, Advisor of Telangana government MP Vivek said, “I know the risk in making films. Forming a good team and wrapping up making good film in a short span of time is really appreciable. I wish ‘Venkatapuram’ which was made with a different concept, will become big success. I wish the team will make many more good films in future. I wish all the best to the director and producers.”
Prominent producer K Achi Reddy said, “Srinivas garu and Maruthi garu have teamed up and established Good Cinema group. We are all aware of the fact that five years back, sensational film ‘Ee Rojullo’ which was delivered from the banner, became big hit. Every film which came from the banner, was a big hit. I wish ‘Venkatapurm’ will also become big success.”
Heroine Mahima Makwana said, “I got trained from the film’s director in terms of acting. I am thankful to the director ad producers for having given me this opportunity.”
On this occasion, hero Rahul said, “Producers have made the film without compromising in any aspect. Director has made the film with an amazing script. ‘Venkatapuram’ which was made with a thrilling element will impress everyone for sure. I was very impressed by the script. The subject has gripping screenplay. The film has ample scope to perform. I am thankful to the director and producers for giving me this opportunity.”
Addressing the gathering, director Venu Madikanti said, “Producers Shreyas Srinivas and Thumu Phani Kumar were very much impressed by the script and immediately accepted to produce this film. They formed an excellent team. Hero, heroine and all other artists and technicians have given lot of support. The film is coming out wonderfully only with the support of entire cast and crew.”
One of the producers of the film Shreyas Srinivas said, “We are planning to release the film’s audio in the first week of December and the film will be released by the end of December or for Sankranti. As ‘Venkatapuram’ has an amazing story, we are very confident on the success of the film.”
All others too spoke at the function and wished for the success of the film.
Rahum, Mahima Makwana, Ajay, Ajay Kumar, Kasi Viswanath, Joginaidu, Koteswarudu, Anithanath and Srinivasa Rao are part of the cast.
