Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) Cricket's newest format is all set for its launch at Hyderabad.
Launch of New Format - “CCL TIP Blast"
The "CCL T10 Blast" ~ 90 minutes of action, 10 overs a side - will feature Film Stars from 6 Languages who have carried a passion for the game of cricket.
The fast and explosive format is expected to get the cricket-crazy fans of Hyderabad on their feet. CCL will bring together over 200 film celebrities from all the film industries, travelling across the length and breadth of the country.
The action begins on 24th and 25th December 2017 and will be a 2-day event at the Uppal Cricket Stadium at Hyderabad promising some nail biting, pulsating and history defining cricket finishes.
The CCL Management has decided on the re-designed format of T-10, expects the game to be more racy and action-packed with big bits and fast bowling action and lots of thrills and entertainment for the viewing audiences.
6 teams representing 6 major film Industries namely Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam will represent the T-10 League. Each of these teams will be represented by some of the most popular film stars and celebrities from their respective film industries
The games will be broadcast all over the world by Sony ESPN and advertising campaigns will be driven across every media format available. The Players will also adorn the newly designed Jerseys for the season during the matches
Speaking about the re-designed new CCL T-10 Blast, on excited Kiccha Sudeep, the captain of Karnataka Team hod this to say: "We are very excited about the concept of T10 as it brings cricket to the level of world sports of 90 minutes and fast pace action. We all enjoy T20 format but wait till you experience T10! It requires a different mind -set to tackle the pressures of a T-10 Match. Its a different kind of math on the field compared to any format of the game played ever"
Commenting on the format of the league Mr. Sohail Khan, the owner of Mumbai team commented: "I am excited at the idea of CCL T-10 Blast in its new avatar. This format is exciting, intriguing and a testament to cricket's ever changing sphere. We look forward to supporting it!"
Mr. Sachin Joshii. owner of the Telugu Team, added, "This new format is going to be a more entertaining format to remember with all the trimmings of the edge-of-your-seat live entertainment, cricketing action and cricket dhamaka."
Also speaking about the T-10 format was Mr. Ashok Kheny, The Chairman of CCL, said, "It's about time cricket entered the league of 90- minute status, this is going to be the next big thing for Cricket"
