Hyderabad, 7 April, 2021: Make-up artist and the master of beauty Sandeep Molugu aka (Sandy Artist) recently celebrated 10 years of his work at Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad. The event was attended by the who’s who of the industry including actors and influencers Sandy has worked with. Actor, influencer, and philanthropist Lakshmi Manchu was the chief guest among other celebrities, all of whom dazzled in creations by Manish Malhotra of India.
Some of the prominent names at the event included celebrities that Sandy began his journey with such as Priya Anand for super hit film English Vinglish, Regina Cassandra, Lavanya Tripathi, Miss India Manasa Varanasi, Simran Chaudhary, among others. The event commenced with a beautiful opening track by artist Pranati Khanna and Regina Cassandra extended a warm welcome to everyone at the event.
Speaking about his journey, Sandy, said, “I have had the most fulfilling decade and it is heartening for me to be present with everyone here, having completed 10 whole years in this industry. From being an accent and voice trainer and choreographer to realizing my passion for making people look their most beautiful self, I have come a long way. I can only thank everyone who has believed in my work and been committed to working with me. I also feel delighted about having everyone here to celebrate my journey.”
Adding her comments, Lakshmi Manchu, said, “Sandy has been more than a make-up artist. To call him just that would be limiting the scope of his work and capabilities. He is my go-to person for everything I need in terms of looking good and feeling confident no matter what the occasion is as I am sure he is for numerous other artists. I wish him all the best for the future and a journey ahead that is fulfilling.”
A tastefully made video of Sandy’s 10-year-journey was also unveiled amidst much applause from everyone present. This was followed by a cake cutting ceremony and guests were treated to an evening of jazz music, dinner, and drinks. Even the brides Sandy worked with and his friends were a part of this evening.

Sandy’s association with the fashion industry began when he worked for Karan Johar and Varun Bahl’s collection for Taj Khazana 2011.
