Priya Anand was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India on 17th September 1986. She is an Indian model & film star who acted in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Bollywood films.
Personal Life:
Priya’s parents are Radha Anand & Bharadwaj Anand. She is only child for her parents and was raised in Hyderabad and Chennai and was fluent in Telugu and Tamil. She graduated from the University of Alany in Communications & Journalism.
Career:
In 2008, she began her career as a model. She featured in advertisements such as Prince Jewellery, Nutrine Maha Lacto & Cadbury Dairy Milk during her modelling career.
She was first signed to the Pugaipadam movie , but since it was late, she made her acting debut in 2009 with the tamil film 'Vaamanan.' While the film was mediocre in the box office the music of the film became enormously popular.
In 2010, along with Rana & Richa, she made her Telugu film debut with AVM Production's film Leader . Leader's popularity continued with the movie named Rama Rama Krishna Krishna.
After that she starred in several hit movies in Tamil cinema including Ethir Neechal, Arima Nambi, Oru Oorla Rendu Raja and Vai Raja Vai.
She became a well known star in the Tamil film industry through these films.
