International Fashion Week off to an extravagant start

Hyderabad, December 19, 2013: The eagerly anticipated return of season three of the Kingfisher ULTRA Hyderabad International Fashion Week in collaboration with Storm Fashion Company opened in true glans style with renowned designers Jaya Mishra, AD Singh, Aslam Khan and Jattinn Kochhar presenting some stunning styles on the ramp. With exceptional designs in a mosaic of textures, silhouettes & hues, the crowd was treated to a stunning show at the Taj Vivanta.

Ace designer Aslam Khan set the tempo for the evening with his collection that was a mélange of easy, free flowing designs. Bollywood actresses Mugdha Godse and Sonal Chauhan who were the show stoppers for Asians Khan, added to the glamour and glitz as they carried off their chic outfit with great panache.

Staying true to his signature style, the creations from Jattinn Kochi. r were lavish & glamorous reflecting the Kingfisher ULTRA lifestyle experience. His collection 'Me & 1, is inspired by the duality in our lives; the dark coexisting with the light. Jattinn made use of monochrome colors of black and white with dashes of ruby red and striking silver. Rich evening gowns, cocktail dresses, jumpsuits and tunic sets with optical prints and stripes, embellished with Swarovski crystals in fabrics like lycra knits in viscose, silk, cotton and bamboo. Tanvi Vyas was the showstopper for Jattin Kochhar strutted down the ramp in true elegance and style.

For this edition, Kingfisher Ultra got consumers and fans to participate in a special contest on Twitter - #KFUltraShowStopper where participants had to upload their most stylish picture on Kingfisher's Twitter and Instagram page. The winner would then walk the ramp showcasing Jattin Kochhar's specially designed outfit. Kritika Shetty from Bangalore, who won this contest, was seen walking the ramp in great panache.

Marking the grand opening of the third edition of Kingfisher ULTRA Hyderabad International Fashion Week, Kingfisher ULTRA, The Emperor of Good Times, kept the glamour quotient high throughout the evening as well as by playing host to the designers, models and prominent personalities for the post show celebrations.
