With so many exhibitions happening in the city it gets boring and monotonous to go to the same venue with same designers. Akritti brings to Hyderabad a new tadka to the world of exhibitions. As its name suggests, BAND BAAZA BARAAT, - a new concept exhibition & sale is an event being planned to get a the feel of the big fat Indian wedding. Anyone who comes to Akritti’s BAND BAAZA BARAAT can be sure to find solutions to all their wardrobe worries !
Featuring over 80 participants from across the country with both wedding and casual collections, the products offered include trendy designer wear, casuals, fashion jewellery, precious jewellery, handbags &ciutches, footwear, home decor, unstitched dresses and materials along with a wide range for trousseau, bridal wear, heavy ethnics and more! , while bringing together all wedding needs like photography, mehendi, and others at the same place!!
A special feature is styling consultation which allows the customers to get to know what styles, colours, etc suit them best and flatter them depending on body shape, age, etc.

The designers and stores include Fooba, Mamtha Udupa, Simran, Tabu, Vima Dilip, Archana Reddy, Amrapali, Varsana, Lemon Tree, Polka Dots, Sheetall Nahata, Colour fabs, Bhanavi, Rein, Flaunt, Ada, and many more!

The show was inaugurated by Ms. Simran Chowdary, tollywood actress, movie 'Hum Turn' and winner of Miss Tollywood AP and Mrs Sashi Nahata, Director of Akritti.
