The protagonist of the story of a young girl, Devyani who is a topper and qualified fashion designer. She is talented and comes from a cultured family …….so wants to take up responsibilities by working in Textile Company….Shalini Sharma who is the better-half of Jaswant Sharma, (owner of Sharma Constructions) sees Devyani and becomes excited to getting her married to Yuvraj, the elder son of Sharma family….Joshiji, father of Devyani couldnot believe when he got marriage proposal from Shalini Sharma….but Devyani was not happy with all these developments but got convinced after a lucrative offer of opening a textile company after marriage from Shaliniji…..On the other side Yuvraj is in a live-in relationship with his girlfriend in Mumbai that his family is ignorant about…..he uses the family resources in trying out new plans and career options on the unshakable confidence of his mother Shalini…..Jaswant Sharma wishes that his work should be taken over by Rohan,his younger son but he is more inclined towards art and photography…daughter Ritu has no purpose in life and wastes her time in social networking sites…with all this scenario some close relatives want to take advantage by grasping all business of the family.

After marriage Devyani is severely shocked to see Yuvraj elope on their first night but is consoled by family by giving business excuses… but she eventually comes to know that her husband has an affair in Mumbai…..she is in a big dilemma about her life after marriage…She has to decide her destiny..is it with the marital family or her family or a professional choice or something independent…….Jaswant Sharma, her father-in-law gives her enough freedom to live her life….Now Devyani recollects her strength and joins an Export Company…She get praised by the MD for her work and talent…..Tanya, girlfriend of Yuvraj is the boss of Devyani…..Tanya appreciates her work immensely and takes her to meet Yuvraj where he is astonished to see her…
