MAA Welfare Brochure Launch

To provide continuous employment opportunities to MAA Artists, Movie Artist Association (MAA) has started Welfare Committee-Job Department.

 

MAA Presidential Committee urged Telugu film directors and producers to give opportunities to the talented and experienced artists, who are in depression with no opportunities. Sahajanati Jaya Sudha, producer C Kalyan, hero Srikanth, ‘Roshini’ voluntary organisation members, Ranga reddy District Industries Centre Assistant Director Y Venkaiah, ‘Vandemataram’ foundation Vikas, Edida Sriram, Suresh Kondeti, Hema, Gangadhar Pandey, Devendar, Gouthan Raju and Latha and MAA Job Department Mebers and MAA Members and some others were present at the program organised by MAA Welfare Committee Chairman Senior Naresh and MAA Chief Secretary Shivaji Raja.

 

Sahajanati Jaya Sudha launched MAA Job Department Broacher by presenting them to hero Srikanth and C Kalyan. Jaya Sudha has received SBI Insurance documents related 350 MAA Members by Shivaji Raja. Chief gusts and MAA Members were felicitated with Shawls. Actress ‘Bommarillu’ Sarika’s birthday was also celebrated on the same stage.

 

Speaking at the press meet, senior Naresh said, “Film artists have no guarantee like other employs like doctors and lawyers. Once artists loose chances, they will not get opportunities. So, we urge Telugu film directors and producers to give opportunities to the talented and experienced artists. We started a sub-committee with Goutham Raj as in charge. The team will meet producers, directors, co-directors and writers. It will request them to create characters for the talented artists and urges them Telugu producers should give opportunities to Telugu people. We are trying our best to issue home schemes and other schemes to MAA members through government. Few volunteer organisations came forward to guide them. It’s a new attempt. MAA is doing many innovative programs since one and half year. We will do our best to guide the future generation through our present programs.”

 

On this occasion, MAA Chief Secretary Shivaji Raja said, “13 years back when I met with an accident, I thought that I can’t act. MAA members stood by my side at that time and therefore I decided to dedicate my life to MAA by doing good things. Naresh and MAA EC members are supporting me a lot. I the starting days of my career, I travelled by buses and autos. I know the problem faced by the people who have no bikes. I am trying to provide bike loans for the members who have no bikes. We are arranging accidental insurance for free for nearly 350 members. They will get SBI coverage of nearly 2 lakhs. For the good health of members, we met Apolo Hospital staff for their support. We will do many more useful programs in future as well. We have started Job department to bring opportunities to talented artists.”

 

“When we urged Telangana government to start film institute in Hyderabad, The government assured that they will allot 100 acres,” added Shivaji Raja.

 

C Kalyan praised the initiative of MAA by starting Job Department. He assured that he will do his bit by giving opportunities to the talented artists.

 

Jaya Sudha too spoke at the press meet and opined that it is not wrong to give opportunities to other state people, but Telugu people should also get opportunities.
