Padma Bhushan Dr Akkineni Nageswara Rao has launched the book of ‘Mega Chiranjeevitham-Cine Prasthanam’ on Sunday evening at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. Allu Aravind, Ram Charan Tej, Suresh Kondeti, Pasupuleti Rama Rao, Relangi Narasimha Rao, K S Rama Rao and Edidha Nageswara Rao.
Akkineni Nageswara Rao said, “People hardly remember things these days. Hence it’s essential for more books to come on the history of film personalities. Chiranjeevi is a noted personality. Yet a book on him will help the future generations to know about him. Therefore I think Rama Rao garu penned this book only with that intention. He is a good writer and his books never hurt anyone. I’m very happy for taking part in this programme and launching the book called ‘Chiranjeevitham’.”
Speaking few words about Chiranjeevi he said, “Although I started the dance movements first, it was Chiranjeevi who earned craze with his dance moves after me. I used to be amazed to see his dances. He became a No.1 star only with his dances. Similarly even with less experience he has overcome all hurdles in politics and achieved the status of Central Minister. Today he is responsible for the development of Tourism. The government should be appreciated for giving a good responsible post to Chiranjeevi. I wish him to reach heights in politics too.”
Ram Charan said, “My dad did not show much interest when we requested Rama Rao garu to write an auto-biography on him. However later he agreed for it since Rama Rao garu is known to our family a lot. There are two to three pages in this book which I’m also not aware of it. I request him to write the Part-2 book also and we will try to do our best in providing him the needed information including the personal information.”
Producer Allu Aravind said, “We had plans to design this book grandly. However Rama Rao garu did not agree to it. He designed the book ‘Chiranjeevitham’ only with his hard-earned money.”
Writer Rama Rao said, “I thank Suresh Kondeti for supporting me. My association with Chiranjeevi garu started off when I approached him with the problem of farmers suicides in Prakasam and Ongole few years ago. He immediately responded to it by discussing it Aravind garuand lent financial help on the day of 100 days function of ‘Yamudiki Mogudu’. After that Chiranjeevi garu become very close to my heart and our friendship began then onwards and continued till today. I consider myself lucky to also get the oppostunity to do Chiranjeevi garu’s first interview.”
Suresh Kondeti said, “I’m one among those who was inspired my Chiranjeevi garu and entered the movie field. We are all very happy to note that Rama Rao garu got the opportunity to write book on him. I consider myself lucky that Rama Rao garu worked for our Santosham magazine for 10 years.”
