Naga Chaitanya and Akhil launches Nagarjuna's Birthday Stamp

Postal Stamp Released On The Occasion Of Akkineni Nagarjuna's Birthday

Akkineni Nagarjuna is celebrating his birthday on August 29. On this occasion, Postal department has released a postal stamp of Nagarjuna. A song crooned by Nagarjuna for film, 'Nirmala Convent' has been screened on this occasion. Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Akkineni Akhil has released the postal stamp. Music Director of 'Nirmala Convent' Roshan Saaluri also took part in this launch.

Roshan Saaluri says, " I am very happy that Nagarjuna sir has agreed to sing a song for me. At first he asked me weather he is the right choice to sing the song. He immediately agreed after i assured him that he will do great in singing and he spent one complete day with me for the song. I feel very lucky to work with Nagarjuna sir for my second film itself."

Akkineni Nagachaitanya says," Very happy to release Postal Stamp on Dad on his birthday. He made trend setting films like Shiva, Geethanjali,Ninne Pelladatha. Even today he is busy in delivering films like Manam, Soggade Chinni Nayana, Oopiri. He is doing things which we have to do at our age."

Akhil Akkineni said," I know Roshan since we were kids. I amvery happy that Dad sang a song in Roshan's music direction.I am glad to be part of this postal stamp launch on his birthday. Dad is our inspiration and age is just a number for him."

President of All India Nagarjuna Fans Andhra Association, Sarvesrara Rao, President of Telangana Association Ravinder Reddy also paricipated in this programme.
