Celebrities pay homage to Uday Kiran

Uday Kiran’s body was taken from NIMS to his flat at Srinagar colony after postmortem and was shifted to AP Film Chamber on Tuesday morning for celebrities, Uday’s colleagues, fans and well-wishers to take the last glimpse at the actor. Dasari Narayana Rao, D Ramanaidu, D Suresh Babu, Venkatesh, Srikanth, Siva Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Jayasudha, Allari Naresh, Varun Sandesh, Raja, Parachuri Venkateswara Rao, Parachuri Gopalakrishna, M S Raju, Kadambari Kiran, Samudra, Anoop Rubens, Shivaji Raja, Shivaji, Rajeev Kanakala, Suresh Kondeti, Banerjee, Chalapathi Rao, Apoorva and several others from the industry paid their last respects to Uday Kiran. Uday’s wife Visheeta, sister Sridevi, his niece, father Murthy, brother-in-law, father-in-law Govindarajulu and mother-in-law were by the side of his dead body. On the other hand, a huge crowd of fans thronged the Film Chamber to pay their respect and bid adeu to their favourite star. The body was kept at the film chamber till 12 PM and later was taken to the Erragadda Cremation Grounds for his last rites. Thousands of fans also arrived at the burial ground and started shouting slogans like “Uday Kiran – Amar Rahe!” “Chiranjeevi – Down Down!”. After Uday’s father Murthy performed the rituals, some of them attacked him for neglecting Uday Kiran despite being his father.
