The title ‘Kudhirithe Kappu Coffee’ is something very unique giving a feel of unconventional story is all set to hit the theaters on February 25th.
Ramana Salva, who has been an associate of Bhimineni Srinivas Rao has now promoted himself to the director level in this film. Not in a position to shine with any damsels after the initial kick-off, Varun Sandesh has picked a London based NRI, Suma Bhattacharya, to romance in this film. Incidentally for Suma, this is not the first film, she is already busy with a film in Bollywood. Producers Mahi and Siva are jointly producing this film under Moon Water Pictures banner.
The stills in the web and the trailers show the carefully selected picturesque spots in and around different coffee estates in Coorg, Shimogha and other places in Karnataka like Shakaleshwar, Theerthakali and Kemmangudi seem to be rights locations giving boost to the already attractive title.
Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry seems to be playing a vital part with lyrics and also guiding his son Yogishwar Sharma who is debuting as the music director in this movie. His guidance has already paid the dividends through the success of the audio which was recently released.
Another debutant is cameraman Santosh Rai who seems to have done enough homework by selecting right and cool spots expected to be offering a feast to the viewers. ‘Bommarillu’ gave the break to Abburi Ravi who has now grown to be picked up by ace directors like Shankar for his remake of ‘3 Idiots’ is the one to play with the dialogues in this romantic entertainer. This Nandi award winner is expected not to disappoint the viewers in the movie which will be dominated by emotional dialogues. Art director Shashidhar Adapa and editor Anil Kumar also lend their expectees in churning out this 1hr 55 mins movie, yet another film for testing Varun Sandesh’s luck.
Suma Bhattacharya, Miss India Worldwide Competition finalist (2008) and Miss India UK (2008), will be a selling point apart from the cool eye-catching scenes of Coorg and other coffee estates in Karnataka. Will these add value to Varun Sandesh’s sagging career which is yet to take off after his success through ‘Happy Days’ and ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokham’ though his other movies flopped at box office excepting ‘Evaraina Eppudaina’.
