Several news channels believed that Nayantara’s marriage to Arya on May 11th was true, when a fake wedding invitation printed as ‘Arya Weds Nayantara’ was released to the media along with a photograph of Arya and Nayantara. At first the hot news became the hot topic among the media circles, as it was also believable for the reason that Arya and Nayantara were good buddies ever since they have worked together in ‘Boss Engira Bhaskaran’ (Nene Ambani in Telugu). However, the media later realized that the whole wedding hoax was merely a publicty stunt, to promote a Tamil film ‘Raja Rani’ starring Arya and Nayantara as lead pair. What’s more surprising was Nayantara remained silent when a section of media was telecasting the news, which means she was aware of the publicity stunt before.
Arya-Nayan’s ‘Raja Rani’ is the creation of director Atlee Kumar and it’s produced by A R Murugadoss. G V Prakash Kumar is rendering the music. The film is set for June release. On the other hand Nayan has joined the sets of Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Anamika’ in Hyderabad recently. Shooting of this film is said to be progressing briskly.
