So far we have seen silent films. But, the director Rockesh Reddy has taken a step forward and made a silent film titled ‘Kalaya Tasmai Namaha’ in slow motion. It is the first ever full slow motion film in not just Telugu, but also in all languages. We can say it as a world record. Srinivas B, Vijay Karthik, Vinay Krishna and Srinivas Kadiyala are jointly producing the film under RK Guru Entertainments banner. The film that features Naresh Naidu and Rekha Boze as hero and heroine respectively, is presently at censor process. The makers are planning to release the film in a grand level in July.
On this occasion, Rockesh Reddy said, “Earlier, I did short films like ‘Love In Vizag’ and ‘Dirty Picture’ and those have earned good fame to me as a director. With that enthusiasm I have directed a silent film titled ‘Kalaya Tasmai Namaha’ in slow motion. The story of the film is set in the backdrop of a village in 1980. The film runs with the concept ‘Time is destiny’ and that is why the title ‘Kalaya Tasmai Namaha’ was finalised. Everyone is saying that the title is very different. I have included some real incidents which happened in my life. Our film’s specialty is- it is the first ever silent and full slow motion film in the world with one and half hour duration. My attempt is not to make records but it is apt to the story. I am extremely confident that audience will accept it after watching the film. Another specialty is- the cast and crew who worked for short films have worked for this film. It’s a new concept film. I hope the film will create sensational records for sure like ‘Premisthe’, ‘Prasthanam’ and ‘Bichagadu’. Currently, censor works are going on. We are planning to release the film in July.”
Naresh Naidu, Rekha Boze, SS Sharma, Sanju Sanjay, Rashi Gavar, Sridha Bhatt, Uday Kumar, Saniya Aslam, Bharath J and some others are part of the cast.
