Dhruva Sarja (senior actor Arjun's nephew) stars in 'Pogaru', the action-thriller dubbed from Kannada. 'Bheeshma' and 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' actress Rashmika Mandanna is the film's female lead. The news is that the film's dialogue trailer was unveiled today marking New Year's Day.
The song 'Karaabu', which became a big hit in Kannada, has crossed 50 million views so far in Telugu. This is really big.
As for its release, its release rights have been acquired by D Prathap Raju for Rs 3.30 Cr amid stiff competition. Raju, the prominent distributor, financial and producer, will release it on Sai Surya Entertainments.
The trailer, released today, is power-packed. The film seems to have got a strong nativity despite it being a dubbed one. The producer has thanked the audience for making 'Karaabu' song a blockbuster hit. "The Telugu and Kannada versions will release simultaneously. Dhruva Sarja is on a hat-trick. His combination with the successful Rashmika is special," the producer added.
Directed by Nandan Kishore, the film has music by Chandan Shetty and Arjun Janya. The action scenes are by WWE champs (Kai Greene, Morgan Aste, Joe Lindner and John Lucas). With cinematography by SD Vijay Milton, its editing is by KM Prakash. 'Mirchi' fame actor Sampath Raj, Dhananjay, Ravishankar, Pavithra Lokesh, Girija Lokesh are part of the film.
