'Akhanda', after it was postponed in May, is up for a new release date. The Balakrishna-Boyapati Srinu movie is believed to have locked September 10 as the new date. The Nandamuri fans will be happy if the film targets the Vinayaka Chavithi crowds.
Only a few portions of the movie are pending. It's believed that the 'Simha' and 'Legend' actor will shoot the climax portions in July. Activity in the Telugu film industry is fast picking up with the lifting of the lockdown by the Telangana government.
Back in May, producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy conveyed to distributors that 'Akhanda' will be released in September. It has to be seen which all films will be in the race for Vinayaka Chavithi. No other big-ticket film might clash with 'Akhanda'.
Pragya Jaiswal, Srikanth and Jagapathi Babu have key roles in the movie. Music is by Thaman.
