'Liger' has just become bigger. Puri Jagannadh has cast the legendary boxer Mike Tyson in a significant role in the boxing-based movie, which is headlined by Vijay Deverakonda. As if to confirm why the caption of the movie is 'Saala Crossbreed', the makers today unveiled a poster in which Deverakonda and Tyson are seen as a single face.
Describing Tyson in superlative terms, the makers suggested that Tyson will be seen in a ferocious role in 'Liger'. In step with the film's backdrop of Mixed Martial Arts, Tyson will be seen as a boxer par excellence. 'Liger' will also be released in theatres and not on OTT.
Currently being shot in Goa, the film is a collaboration between Dharma Productions and Puri Connects. If visuals are by Vishnu Sarma, the film has action choreography by Kecha. To be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, it has Ananya Pandey, Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey and Getup Srinu in other roles.
