'Liger' opened to the biggest-ever figure in Vijay Deverakonda's career on its opening day (Aug 25). In Hindi, premieres were held. Its release date in Hindi is Aug 26 on about 2000 screens.
As per Dharma Productions and Puri Connects, 'Liger' made Rs 33.12 Cr (Gross) worldwide on Day 1, with a lion's share of the collections coming from Telugu.
The film, directed by Puri Jagannadh, is expected to make the most of the weekend both domestically and overseas. As per the makers, the action drama will make the best of the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi holiday as well.
Starring Ananya Panday as the heroine, the film has Chunky Panday, Ramya Krishna and Ronit Roy in key roles.
