SS Rajamouli is now many steps closer to great glory. He won the Best Director award at Friday's New York Film Critics Circle Awards. 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' fetched him the award.
Sharing the news, SS Kanchi, who is Rajamouli's cousin and script coordinator for 'RRR', wrote, "AN ACHIEVEMENT. Only those who are aware of the ladder of success in the world of cinema can understand."
The award is prestigious as per Adivi Sesh, who gives an interesting piece of statistics. "Someone told me 16 out of the last 22 times, the winner went on to win Best Director at the Oscars. What a man. What a journey. He truly is the Pride of our Nation," the 'HIT 2' actor wrote.
