'Eakam', starring Abhiram Varma, Aditi Myakal, and Kalpika Ganesh, was released in theatres last year. Also featuring Dayanand Reddy, Lakshman, and Tanikella Bharani, the film has been streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
The makers have said that the mystical drama, in which the lead protagonist is a God in human form, is at No. 2 on the streaming giant. It's next only to 'Puhspa: The Rise' in terms of viewing footprint. The film has reached this spot in just 15 days.
B Varun Vamsi, the director of 'Eakam', said that he is very happy with the reception. "I am proud of having made a unique genre flick like this one. We have got both awards and rewards," he added.
'Eakam' has received multiple awards at international film festivals. It has got an excellent premise and a philosophical outlook, our review of the movie said.
