The Sood Charity Foundation has got a new jewel in its crown. Actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood has been feted with the Nation's Pride Award at the Society Achievers Awards. The event was held at a hotel in Mumbai. The 'Acharya' and 'Arundhati' actor received the award at the hands of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
Speaking on the occasion, Soos reiterated his dream of transforming the lives of the disadvantaged by "empowering them with the tools required to lead a healthy and productive life."
He also spoke about his Foundation's far-reaching activities.
Veteran actress Hema Malini, star diva Tamanaah Bhatia and others also graced the occasion.
