Sushmita Sen, the former Miss Universe, needs no introduction. She was one of the most popular female celebs in India in the 1990s. Alongside Aishwarya Rai, she shone in the world of cinema, doing glamorous and performance-centric roles as well.
The news is that she had a heart attack a couple of days ago. The actress today took to Instagram and revealed that she underwent an angioplasty and got a stent placed. Her health status is that her condition is stable. And her social media post suggests that she is cheerful.
“I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back. Angioplasty is done, a stent in place, and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart’,” she wrote jovially.
Sen posted a pic of herself with her father Shubeer Sen. "Lots of people to thank for their timely aid and constructive action. This post is just to keep my well-wishers and loved ones informed of the good news," she added.
