Nara Rohit’s 'Prathinidhi 2' has been indefinitely postponed. The film is rumoured to have run into trouble because the CBFC board members are yet to watch it and certify it. As per the buzz in the town, political pressure has resulted in this state of affairs.
The film was supposed to hit the cinemas this Thursday (April 25). If it doesn't get released in the first week of May, it might have to wait for the elections in Andhra Pradesh to be over. In that case, the very purpose of making the political action drama will have been defeated.
Rohit has pinned a lot of hopes on the performance of the movie for his own personal reasons. His acting career needs a fillip. Election fever would have probably ensured decent openings for the movie if the content is indeed strong as claimed. This film doing well upon its release after the election season appears bleak unless something miraculous happens.
