Raja Singh, the firebrand BJP leader and Goshamahal legislator, today came out in support of Allu Arjun. He was one of the first politicians to voice his support for the 'Pushpa 2' actor.
"The tragic stampede incident is a glaring failure of the police department, not the fault of National Award-winning star Allu Arjun, who has brought immense pride to the Telugu states with his accolades and achievements," Raja Singh said.
"Holding him accountable for something he isn't directly responsible for is both unjust and unwarranted. Instead of addressing the systemic issues and lapses in crowd management, targeting a celebrated icon reflects poorly on the administration," he added.
He asked the Revanth Reddy government to introspect rather than treat Allu Arjun as a criminal.
