Recently, a former AIADMK functionary named AV Raju made some derogatory remarks about Trisha Krishnan. The remarks are unprintable and defamatory in nature. Trisha has reacted to his disgusting remarks by threatening legal action.
"It's disgusting to repeatedly see low lives and despicable human beings who will stoop down to any level to gain attention. Rest assured, necessary and severe action will be taken. Anything that needs to be said and done henceforth will be from my legal department," the 'Vishwambhara' and 'Leo' actress wrote on Twitter.
A section of the Tamil film industry is stepping in by supporting Trisha. An executive producer said that Trisha has been made a victim of "unwarranted, baseless, loose and completely false allegations". The EP added, "It is 2024; we talk about women empowerment and equality - why drag an unrelated person into personal mudslinging. There are basic lines which should not be crossed," she added.
