Pointless 'challenge' by Vishwak Sen

Speaking at the Trailer launch event of 'Mechanic Rocky' on Sunday, actor Vishwak Sen said that a pre-release paid premiere of his movie will be held on the evening of November 21. The actor added, "If you are told by those who watch 'Mechanic Rocky' premieres that the film is bad, don't watch my movie."

The 'Gaami' actor's special ability is that he makes even platitudes sound brave. It is obvious that the audience are going to skip his movie if the public talk is negative. What is the point in making the pointless 'challenge'? Has there been an instance where people flocked to theatres to watch him on the big screen in spite of negative talk?

Vishwak Sen also said that not creating hype around 'Mechanic Rocky' was a choice he had made. "I didn't hype up the movie deliberately," he added. Of course, why would there be hype around the movie when Vishwak Sen is a 'mass ka das' with a limited appeal and the movie's director is unknown?

By any reckoning, the Trailer of 'Mechanic Rocky' is below-average, with Meenakshi Chaudhary embarrassing herself (yet again after 'Guntur Kaaram') and the hero relying on his trademark dialogue delivery (which is decent at best). Sunil plays the main villain, while Shraddha Srinath, VK Naresh, Viva Harsha and others are part of the cast.
