In his upcoming movie, Akash Jagannadh (Puri Jagannadh's son) plays a rebellious, violent character of sorts. In an Audio Glimpse released by the makers, we see the male lead declare a war against a looter who has built his Empire on the foundations of injustice and exploitation. "I am surging forth to dismantle your Empire," the male lead says.
As a character who believes that vice must be resorted to in order to destroy evil, Akash's character rationalizes his own philosophy of warfare. Going by the Glimpse, it seems Thalvar launches Akash as an action hero.
What makes the project personally satisfying for Akash is that his father, Puri Jagannadh, is essaying a major role in it. Also featuring Prakash Raj, Dasara and Daaku Maharaaaj fame Shine Tom Chacko, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Ajay, Thalvar is yet to lock its release date. Kesava Kiran (music director), Trilok Siddu (cinematography), Ayila Srinivasa Rao (editing), and Vithal Kosanam (art direction) are working with director Kasi Parasuuram on the pan-Indian action entertainer. The Hindi version's audio glimpse was put out by actor and serial philanthropist Sonu Sood.
