The pre-release event of Kingston was held in Hyderabad on Monday. Nithiin and others attended it as guests.

Guest and actor Nithiin said, "The visuals of Kingston are fantastic. I congratulate director Kamal Prakash. I am waiting to watch the movie on March 7th. Since this is a first-of-its-kind sea-based fantasy adventure, this is so promising that way. Maheshwara Reddy garu of Ganga Entertainments is a family friend. I wish him all the best on releasing Kingston in the Telugu States."

GV Prakash Kumar said, "Even though I have done just one film with Nithiin sir, he has attended this event to support our movie. Kingston has been a dream come true. This is my first venture as a producer. When we see multi-verse Hollywood movies, we are inspired. I always wanted to produce a cinematic universe. Kingston is a dream venture for my banner. Kingston is a proper big-screen film with ambition written all over it."

Actress Divyabharathi said, "GV Prakash has always been supportive and motivating. He encourages new talents. This is my second film with him, the first being Bachelor. While working on Kingston, I noticed that he always encourages newcomers. I thank the Telugu audience for supporting us when I and GV sir did Bachelor. Kingston will make the audience feel they are in a different world. Mine is a girl-next-door in Kingston. More than a movie, it is an experience to me. The amount of hard work that went into its making was high. Kingston is a visual feast. Director Kamal Prakash is debuting as a filmmaker.

GV Prakash Kumar said, "While Kingston is an adventure, sea-based film in the main, there is also a love track. Romance is there. A cute love story is there for sure. The story moves back and forth; it doesn't go in a straight line.

Producer Maheshwara Reddy of Ganga Entertainments said that his banner is releasing Kingston in the Telugu States. "Content and the combination that made this film are the two factors I took into consideration," he said.

Mythri Distributor Shashidhar Reddy said, "The Telugu trailer is superb. The audience are surely going to be thrilled. This is a big-screen experience. I am confident that we will score a box office hit."

Mythri Movie Makers' Y Ravi Shankar said that the visuals of Kingston are mind-blowing for its budget. "The Kingston world is unique and awesome. The film has been planned meticulously since the pandemic. The effort that has gone into its making is visible.

Lucky Baskhar director Venky Atluri said that Kingston has attained great quality. "This is a VFX movie that has been pulled off on a fairly reasonable budget. That way, there is so much to learn from this project. I hope Kamal Prakash becomes a big director. GV Prakash has a Midas Touch. Actresses who have worked with him have gone on to become popular. Zee Studios has an eye for talent. I also wish Mythri all the best."

Guest and director Venky Kudumula revealed that Nithiin and GV have a common star favourite in Telugu: Pawan Kalyan. He added that they both entered the film industry quite young, have done many films and yet continue to look young after all these years. Nithiin asked GV how he is so prolific both as a composer and as an actor. "I work hard every day," GV said. He added that he is passionate about both music and acting. Venky Kudumula described GV as a multi-faceted talent who never gets tired of working.

Divya Vijay of Zee Studios said that the banner is happy to have bankrolled the movie in collaboration with Parallel Universe Pictures.
